The 2020 Legislative session ended on February 20th after a short and business-packed four week session. Among the many important bills passed were those creating an early childhood trust fund, re-establishing a solar tax credit, and putting into place a red flag gun bill. The legislature also took advantage of robust oil and gas revenues and passed a generous budget that included a large Capital Outlay package. As part of that package, the El Valle Community Center and Villanueva Library were awarded $20,000 for infrastructures repairs and improvements.
