San Miguel County continues to move forward in its comprehensive planning process. All the community meetings have taken place and a preliminary "Community Conversations Report" has been submitted to the county. The report summarizes the input provided by the community meetings and sets the framework for crafting the sub-areas' vision and mission statements. The next steps include engaging the steering committee in more focused discussion on particular topics of importance to planning, such as housing and land use. To learn more, read the Planning Background Information or the full Community Conversations Report.
