Villanueva Library offers free computer and workforce skills training
The Villanueva Library at the El Valle Community Center is offering free Basic Computer and Workforce Readiness Skills training on Saturdays through November 16th. Classes introduce beginning learners 17 years of age and older to basic computer and internet tasks, with options for ongoing training and tutoring in online job search and application skills. Additional free career preparation and training is available through online learning software from Luna Community College's Adult Education Program.
Classes are held Saturday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30 and afternoons from 1:00 - 2:30 in the library computer lab at the El Valle Community Center. All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary.
