"Toys Por Los Ninos" (previous years) is a toy run organized in partnership with the city of Las Vegas and valley businesses. The event raises funds to purchase toys for children in the community for the holidays.
"Easter Egg Hunt," a yearly event drawing over 200 participants, is supported by generous donations from the community and provides Easter treats and activities for children and families.
Our yearly "Thanksgiving Bingo" offers bingo fun and provides Thanksgiving dinner items as prizes.
Halloween brings families to the center for decorations, family-centered activities, and treats for all who attend
The Senior Jubilee (previous years) is a unique micro-conference program celebrating seniors who live in rural areas. The program has been in existence for over 10 years.
Los Pastoras (previous years), is a traditional hispanic Christmas-time play recounting the nativity. There is strong interest in reviving this traditional event.
The Youth Farm to Market Program, which provides training for valley children and youth in sustainable agriculture and marketing, has held activities and classes at the EVCC for the past four years.
Our "Back to School Drive" operates at the start of every school year. Donations from community members and local businesses make it possible to provide free school supplies to all school age children in the community.
